Time to Ride?

Well years ago when I won the 26" UST Crossmark I really didn't think I'd  ever find a use for it. Seriously, why give out 26" tyres to single speeders when 90% of them ride 29ers? Probably a decision made by the same people who give out gear cables and shifters to single speeders.

So the tyre has been collecting dust in the garage for a few years. Given that it's UST it isn't even really appropriate for my old Stumpjumper.

The tyre lay neglected and almost forgotten until...the time was right!

Oh yeaah, that's what we use 26" wheels for. Not a bad use of chain ring plates either.

This was one of two bike part related clocks Phil and I were given last December. The story behind the other clock will have to wait for another time ;-)

So, is it time to ride? Truth be told we haven't been doing much riding here in Canberra. Instead we have been pretty busy doing work on the house renovations, but at least some of them are bike related.

And you guessed it, their story will be told another time!
