With over 41km of man made trails almost 75% Single track this is a venue I will go back too. Technical but nothing too demanding. As it was my first visit I took it on the cautious side as there was warnings of a few rocky drops. Turned out to be wise as some drops had tight corners at the bottom. This was definitely a XC ride. Most of the downhills were flowing and swoopy rather than plunging down.
The climbs were steep in places but I was only in the granny ring once. Too much messing around on McMoab before hand and a long lunch stop meant the legs werent ready for the biggest climb of the day.
McMoab was good but very small scale about 2km some very technical parts some just very smooth easy to ride granite rock.
The chute was very steep. Photos and videos dont do it justice. Easy to do but you have to do it with confidence brake and its a rough fall about 10ft down.Video on the fireroad leading to McMoab:
