Finally we got the Ventana in Greenville. It's been a nice process, thanks Adam from Richard Bikes for the work, I always feel the time spent building a bike is worth, especially if you plan to have it for then next 10 years ... or more.
And yes, I said 10 years, the Ibis Mojo it's been with me for 8 years now, and I don't plan to sell the bike, I will still ride it. Then I have my Cannonade F3000 ... my old machine, actually in Manresa, in "El Rey del Bages" territory, but planning to bring her home, to have all the family reunited :)
Lets talk about the Ventana ... OMG, what a bike, if I was freaking out with the pictures and the info on the different web sites, I have no words to describe how good it looks when you're close to the real bike.
The color, the color, the color ... OMG, this Sky Blue with metallic flakes it's just amazing, the details on the logos, the weldings, the drop-outs ... what to say, I need more time to analyze.
It's night in SC, and you know how much I love nights, when I have a coke with me because there is something worth to spend an hour in front of the computer ... do you remember?

ResponEliminaL'etapa Ibis Mojo Carbon :-) gran tram, quin aventura dins de les nostres vides, va marcar un abans i un després de moltes coses per a mi, per a tu, sense anar més lluny va ser un canvi a les vostres vides, de Catalunya a South Carolina quasi res.
La F3000 amb el "Rey del Bages", quin home més excepcional, gran biker, millor persona. La teva bike no pot estar en millors mans.
Ventana una marca que s'ha fet un espai dins del Món dels petits constructors HM, el seu sistema de doble suspensió és més rellevant dins del sector que fins i tot el del paralelogram deformable de Specialized. Moots, Eriksen, entre d'altres l'han fet seu a les seves games de doble suspensió, Ventana amb aquesta proposta va ser milor bike de l'any crec recordar sis o set edicions, com sona, com sona. No és una flor d'estiu, no, és l'estació sencera, gran marca, gran marca.
El color, ho definiré perquè ens entenguem, i els logos, el color, OMG, OMG, OMG.
La nit, la cola, l'ordinador i un espai comú per nosaltres, instants MÍTICS de la nostra història de bike, i afegeixo, LA CERDANYA!!! :-) també aquella nit a Manresa amb l'Alba, la Carolina, tu i jo a les prèvies a decidir que marxaveu al Nou Món, tornarè a dir, OMG, OMG, OMG, instants únics.
Una bike HM, Ventana, sí, a més una FAT, com la Mojo, puc afirmar més i tot, una tendència la de les FAT que està revolucionant el sector de les bikes, i qui en té una? el Primer Ministre fent les amèriques, tornaré a dir, OMG, OMG, OMG.
Repetiré, una foto clàssica, HM i darrera el fons un clàssic USA, i qui són els protagonistes? una petita família de catalans fen les amèriques, costa no repetir-se entre tan i tantes bones sensacions, OMG, OMG, OMG.
Porta oberta a un nou tram de MTB, el de les FAT, Xavi gran bike, gran proposta, millor color per a mi d'entre tots els colors, oh yeaaaaaah!!! :-)
